How it works › Value sources

Value sources

Any value on the page should answer "where does this come from?" with a right-click, and the same for a photo or a file. Load sources.js beside the kit and every value with a source gets the popover: its basis, the source and its page, when it was read, the record, and a citation to copy. This page loads it.

Right-click a torque or a mass sources.js

Live

robotparts' actuators: every peak torque and mass is a rich cell, {value, basis, source}, read from a seller's or a maker's listing. Right-click one (long-press on a phone, or focus it and press Shift+F10). Shift + right-click gives the browser's own menu; a value with no source always does.

The live view starts when it scrolls into sight.
